Industrial Visit to Dublin, November 2017

November 10th, 2017

During their recent visit to Dublin, our first year students visited Trinity College and were welcomed by the Graduate Business School where students had the opportunity to get familiar with the Master programmes offered by the school. This is Ireland’s greatest cultural treasure and the world’s most famous medieval manuscript and is a must-see on any trip to Dublin. As Ireland’s university on the world stage, Trinity is recognised for academic excellence and a transformative student experience.

The next visit of the industrial trip was to the premises of Dublin City FM Radio station where they met the CEO and got a glimpse into the day to day operations of the radio station and its history.

Some of the highlights during the final day of the Dublin trip were the visit at the iconic Windmill Lane Recording Studios (where artists such as U2, Rolling Stones, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, Metallica or the Script recorded their albums, just to name a few); a visit to Google Headquarters and finally to ESB International, the leading engineering consultancy firm owned by the Electricity Supply Board, Ireland and located at Dublin Airport.

We would like to thank all who welcomed our students during their visit to Dublin, and for giving the students an invaluable insight into their organisations.
