Year Long Project 2018 Final Presentations

April 30th, 2018

The final presentations in our Year Long Project took place on Friday 27th April. This year we were honoured to work with the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation, which is committed to helping alleviate child poverty in Vietnam and Mongolia and giving all children the right to a happy and safe childhood, and were delighted to welcome Christina Noble herself, and her assistant Jean Murtagh to Globe College on Friday.

The project was launched in September. In early October students were put into 8 groups. Over the past six months, we have held two ‘Knockout Rounds’ where judges decided who won the round and which teams would be eliminated. The final four teams presented their concepts to a panel of four judges on Friday. All teams were fantastic, and team ‘A Chance’ won the competition – their theme was ‘Music for Mongolia’ – where their focus was on communicating/helping the children through music.

We are proud of all our students, and would like to thank everyone involved in making Friday’s event a success
