Industrial Visit to Wenzel Electronic Systems, Pinneberg

March 14th, 2016

On Friday 11th March Globe College students visited Wenzel Electronic Systems, part of Kapsch Holdings, in Pinneberg, near Hamburg. Wenzel Electronic Systems is a privately owned company which was founded in 1946 and specialises in communication services and products for the railways. The company currently employs 55 people and sells predominantly within the German market.

During the visit Executive Director Mr Thomas Zwick gave the students an overview of the company and spoke to them about market segmentations, the challenges a company can encounter, and strategies for start-up companies. The presentation was followed by a tour of the facilities.

The students enjoyed their experience and we would like to thank Mr Zwick and Wenzel Electronic Systems for organising the visit and welcoming us to their company!
