I would like to commence by saying that I am extremely grateful for all the experiences that I was able to participate in over the course of the last three years at Globe College Munich. In hindsight, these years flew by like the blink of an eye – as they always do. I can comfortably say that on both an academic and personal level Globe College has shaped me in the best way possible.
To this day, I can vividly remember a professional-development class at the begin of year two in which Dr. Walsh told our class the following: “now is the time when you decide where you will be at the end of your Globe journey”. In precisely that moment I decided for myself that I will not only achieve top-grades, but that I will use every opportunity that Globe provides in order to improve myself. (For any Globe student currently reading this – use all these opportunities as best as you can. Be it: Grit Week, leadership roles, workshops, networking events etc., even if you don’t feel like it in the moment, you will learn a tremendous amount and most definitely thank yourself later).
After said professional-development class the first opportunity I got to test myself was ‘Grit Week’. I took the opportunity and volunteered as a team-leader with the goal of becoming the winning Grit Week team. This turned into reality – our team won Grit Week and I was voted as the best leader. As a prize I received a book titled ‘Grit’ which concerns itself with the concepts of: perseverance, passion, hard work and having the balls to put yourself into uncomfortable situations. I applied these concepts to the remaining time I had at Globe and was able to go from a below average student to a top-grade bachelor student in year three (not trying to boast – more of a if I can do it, you can too). Globe introduced me to the concept of having Grit. I will be forever thankful for this.

I will always be thankful to GBCM for the chance it gave me. It was at the lowest point of my life, when Dr. Walsh came bursting in with her crazy energy through a conference-room door. I wasn’t interested in applying to Universities, but she managed to convince me otherwise. A simple excuse to avoid sitting in a stuffy classroom turned out to be a life-changing twist of fate, which introduced me to the keenest woman, armed with vigorous spirit and steadfast idea, known to the world. I am not sure what Dr. Walsh saw in me, but after her presentation she handed me an invitation to the Golden Ticket workshop and said: “I want to see you there”. There couldn’t be a more suiting metaphor than “Golden Ticket”. For me, this invitation was indeed a ticket, The ticket, which provided alternative for a bitter, harrowing disappointment.
I was invited to the world of wonderful opportunities. And it only got better from there. The Bridging Programme gave a chance for an underperforming student like me to enter higher education. At first, lessons taught in GBCM appeared frivolous to me, but I quickly learned that their apparent simplicity is a result of great intellectual effort of professional teachers. I felt great joy when I was able to help my friends with a product positioning strategy using marketing theory taught in Globe. Ever since, I was able to use the gained knowledge from Globe in practice countless times.
Thank you, Dr. Walsh, Globe Team, and Teachers. Thank you for giving me the chance to be someone in this life, making my loved ones proud, and being able to look in the future with eyes of hope, rather than a bittersweet smirk.

When I look back, I realize how much I grew up and I changed during my time at Globe Business College.
At Globe I was given an opportunity to get out of my comfort zone, try myself in different new roles and develop together alongside different people who had different preferences and focuses in life. Globe helped me break the wall of not believing in myself and gain more confidence by gaining more knowledge.
I am thankful to everyone who was part of this learning experience and who preparing me for future real business life. Now, I feel very confident and ready to swim in the ocean which is called “business world”!

Thank you for giving me the most powerful weapon of knowledge, which has not only strengthened my ability to think on my feet but has also given me the opportunity to explore the world with greater confidence. As an Afghan foreign student I had the vision to be successful but how I was going to achieve this was a difficult question. Dr. Walsh was the answer!
My physical, mental and often emotional journey with Globe is unforgettable. The memories will remain at the forefront of my mind.
The beauty of knowledge that I have received from Globe is a gift that I will carry to eternity.

My study at Globe College was the most enjoyable and useful experience in my life so far. I am endlessly thankful to the extremely supportive lecturers and college staff. “An individual experience” is the best way to describe my Bachelor. All the knowledge I have gained in the last 3 years made me realise how fascinating the business world is and how much more I still have to learn. The college helped me to discover my own potential and believe in myself. And this experience is priceless.

The two unique advantages Globe offers us, are the network and the educational focus of business for leading positions or start-ups. By using those offers, I was able to do several internships and used social contacts, as well as contacts which help me doing career. Also other taught subjects, such as PPD, Project Management or Year-Long Projects helped me to get more successful in business, but also in social conditions. Motivation was always my personal problem in terms of theoretical education, but every single staff of our college helped me managing my goals to finally finish another chapter of my life.
