International School of Stuttgart visits Globe Business College

February 14th, 2012

On the 8th of February, Globe College hosted students from the International School of Stuttgart for their annual “Experience College for a Day” event. These sessions are run regularly at GBCM to provide students from both German and international schools with an insight into third level study and the application of business theory in practice.

The day kicked off with a simulation on Merging Cultures in Business from Mr. Walsh, where students were taught the fundamentals of diversity management and then required to apply the theory in a group simulation. Following this, GBCM hosted lunch in the beautiful foyer of the Art Deco Palais.

In addition to providing an overview of the key services that the European Patent Office provide, Mr. Scharfenberger also outlined possible career paths for the students within the EPO.
