An Evening with Mr Clyde McQueen, Engineering Director at Google GmbH

Mr Clyde McQueen, Engineering Director at Google Germany, was the guest speaker for the Autumn guest lecture event at Globe Business College Munich on Thursday December 1st. Following a light drinks reception upon arrival, guests were introduced to Mr Clyde McQueen with an opening address by the GBCM Dean, Dr Susan Walsh.

In his speech, Clyde provided a view of life inside Google. Participants were given an insight into Google’s business ethos and the openness and trust bestowed upon the company’s employees. The forces behind the company’s drive for innovation and excellence in the form of the company’s CEO Larry Page and its employees became very apparent during the course of this very interesting presentation. The closing question and answer session was extended to the concluding wine reception as Mr McQueen continued to address questions posed by interested guests.
