Guest Lecture: Bill Moeller, U.S. Consul General

March 18th, 2013

On Friday 8th March, GBCM students had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Bill Moeller, the U.S. Consul General in Munich for an extremely interesting and informative lecture on the topic “Building a Stronger Transatlantic Market“.

Mr. Bill Moeller has held the post of U.S. Consul General since August 2012. He served previously as Director of Central and Northern European Affairs on the National Security Staff in the Executive Office of the President from March 2011 to June 2012. Mr. Moeller began his Foreign Service career in 1993 with a posting at the U.S. Embassy in Dublin, Ireland, where he served as a consular officer and later as a political officer, covering the Northern Ireland peace process. An illustrious career has also seen U.S. Embassy postings as far afield as Iceland and Venezuela as well as U.S. State Department roles in Afghanistan.

We would sincerely like to thank Mr. Moeller for joining the group and sharing his invaluable knowledge and insights with our students!
