Guest Lecture: Mr. Berend Marks – “How to get rich”

On Thursday 7th February, Mr. Berend Marks enlightened our students with a very interesting guest lecture on the theme “How to get rich”. Through a different approach to the topic, Mr. Marks showed the importance of following our intuition and our own ideas without disregarding the social skills necessary to establish lasting relationships, together with the knowledge and resources we count on to succeed.

“Is it really about money? Does money make you rich?” were some of his questions. He pointed out the real value of relationships and self-awareness, personal resources that allow all of us to have confidence in our own ideas and goals without hesitation. “Be honest to yourselves and life will set you in the right place to develop”, he affirmed. After a round of questions and answers he finished his lecture with a slice of motivation and encouragement: “Just do it! Go for it!” was the lesson of the day.
