POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMME INFORMATION

Continuous Learning and Professional Management Programmes

• An undergraduate student (bachelor level) of any discipline who wishes to pursue masters studies while working full-time?
• An individual who has been out of education for a considerable time and would like to undertake a programme that bridges the gap to Master studies?

The Advanced Professional Diploma in Management Studies is a flexible postgraduate programme that combines business theories with practical implementation to enhance your management knowledge and skills in an international business environment.

Consisting of the following 9 courses, the APD explores the main functions of general management in a flexible structure that allows you to go at your own pace (to suit your work/life balance).

• The Creative Manager
• Managing Finance for Strategic Managers
• Leadership of Your Organisation
• Managing Change in Organisations
• Managing Financial Principles and Techniques
• Management Research
• Developing a Communications Strategy
• Advanced Professional Development
• Strategic Marketing Management

As admission is on a rolling basis you can join the programme at any stage and have up to 24 months to complete the nine courses. Courses take place on the last weekend of the month (Friday to Sunday inclusive). Individual schedules for groups (at least 5 participants) can also be arranged.

With a maximum of 15 participants per course, you are guaranteed an interactive and constructive session. Assessment is assignment based so as not to add pressure to your working week. The assignments are customised so that you apply the theory learned to your own context.

A supportive, flexible environment means you get the assistance you need to achieve your own development goals. Our dedicated team of lecturers, who are all qualified to Master or PhD level and native English speakers with extensive professional experience in Germany and abroad, are on hand to assist you in that development.

Because the programme is on the National Framework of Qualifications in England (and hence has state recognition in England), those who successfully complete the Diploma can complete their Master studies at British and international universities (either through distance learning or on site).
