MUNICH AS YOUR CAMPUS

After Berlin and Hamburg, Munich is the third largest city in Germany with 1.3 million inhabitants. Its almost Mediterranean lifestyle, incredible architecture, history and beer culture make it one of the most popular cities in Europe.

Our calendar of social and sporting activities allows GBCM students to regularly interact with each other and develop their cross-cultural skills outside of the class environment. Our student community activities encompass cultural events, athletics and sporting activities, study groups and seasonal festivals as well as a wealth of relaxation and leisure opportunities within walking distance of the college.

The following is a taste of our yearly events:

• Oktoberfest – An Oktoberfest event is held at the beginning of each academic year in order to provide an opportunity for new and existing students to meet in a special atmosphere.
• Christmas Party – before separating for the Christmas holidays, GBCM organises a festive Christmas party with dinner and socialising.
• Charity Ball – each October, all students and faculty are invited to attend a gala charity ball in Bucharest to benefit the philanthropic organisation Ovidiu Rom.
• Summer Fest – to celebrate the close of each academic year, the GBCM organises a summer party in Bavarian style at one of the numerous beer gardens in Munich.
